PREMIER OB/GYN OF MANATEE, LLC ADDS CERTIFIED NURSE MIDWIFE BRANDY THOMAS, ARNP, CNM

Premier OB/GYN of Manatee, LLC proudly announces the addition of Brandy Lee Thomas, ARNP, CNM to the practice. She is being scheduled to see obstetric and gynecological patients for routine care as well as assisting with deliveries with Premier’s two physicians, Aaron Sudbury, MD and Jennifer Swanson, MD.

“We are pleased to add the services of a Certified Nurse Mid-Wife to our growing practice,” announced Dr. Aaron Sudbury. “We believe her warm, caring personality combined with her expertise will be a welcome addition.”

Beginning in 1995, Brandy Thomas served in the Navy as a hospital corpsman, assigned to labor and delivery. It was there that she discovered her passion for women’s health care. Upon her discharge, she continued working in the medical field while earning her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Nursing at the University of South Florida. For the next few years, she pursued her career by working at Manatee Memorial Hospital and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in labor and delivery and in 2010, Thomas graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing. She continued her education in Women’s Health, and in April 2011, Brandy Thomas became board certified as a Certified Nurse-Midwife. Having worked in labor and delivery with Thomas, Dr. Sudbury selected her as a prime candidate when he chose to add a Certified Nurse Midwife to the practice.

New patients are encouraged to contact Premier’s New Patient Coordinator at 941-745-5115 Ext. 311 to schedule an appointment with Thomas. Appointments can also be scheduled by logging onto Premier’s website and creating an account in the secure “Patient Portal” section.

Premier OB/GYN of Manatee, LLC, located at 5323 4th Avenue Circle East in Bradenton, has consistently been a leader in Women’s Health Care, expanding services to meet the needs of the community. They provide complete gynecological and uro-gynecological services as well as comprehensive obstetric care including patient education and counseling services. They recently added several in-office surgical procedures, making it more convenient as well as economical for patients. Additional plans are currently underway for further expansion.
