TAMESHA BOMBICINO, APRN, CNM
An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and a board-certified Nurse Midwife, Tamesha Bombicino earned her nursing degree from Galen College of Nursing in St. Petersburg, Florida. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Nurse Midwifery from the Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky, and continued her education to earn her post-master's certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Tamesha spent her RN career being a float pool nurse working in all areas of medicine, mostly favoring OB/GYN and psychiatry, trained under midwives with 100+ collective years of experience. She teaches birthing education and breastfeeding classes. She volunteered as a doula and worked in a hospital in Jamaica, and wanting to give back to nursing, she taught as a nurse instructor at Jersey College of Nursing. Tamesha also performed Pelvic Floor Therapy.
Tamesha was born in Florida, for most of her childhood and adolescent life lived in California, currently residing in St Petersburg, Florida with her husband and two children. Tamesha’s goal is to educate, encourage, and empower the women in the community while providing compassionate, competent, up to date evidence-based care. She wants to help bring awareness and take away the negative stigma around seeking mental health services.
